Summer Program
6th - 12th Grade
Learn about immigration's impact on you and imagine how you can change the world for the better
Summer Program
Students analyze the role of immigrants and refugees in the community, media, government, and policy and then take collective action on a community art project.
When: every year, mid-June – end of July
Eligibility: 6-12th grade immigrant, refugee, and first-generation students.

Arts & Conversations Series
This Program introduces the power of storytelling in healing the traumas of migration and the power of art in reimagining a better world.
When: Once a week in the Spring and Fall, virtual and in-person options
Eligibility: 6-12th grade immigrant, refugee, and first-generation students.

We offer community-wide engagement that highlights an immigrant and refugee friendly ecosystem.
Family Advising
Families new to Convivir meet with our outreach coordinators to identify areas of need, place students in the right program, and outline expectations.
When: made by appointment with outreach coordinator
Eligibility: immigrant and refugee families in Colorado

Community Events
Convivir hosts one community event every semester where students and their families can gather together and get to know each other!
Food, music, prizes and activities.
When: Every Quarter in March, July, September, and December
Eligibility: Immigrant and refugee families, including parents, Convlvir students, and their siblings. We welcome new families!
School-Wide Programs
We offer school-based programming that creates community hubs of support for our youth.
School Enrichment Programming
Students engage in enriching content that supplements their academic and social-emotional learning.
When: In-school or after school, depending on specific MOU.
Eligibility: Middle and High Schools in Colorado, with a priority in Southwest Denver, Montbello, East Aurora, and Central Aurora.
School-Based Coffee Chats
Group advising sessions for immigrant parents with our Spanish outreach coordinator that want to gather consistently at a particular school.
Immigrant, refugee, first generation families of our target youth.
When: In-school or after school, depending on specific MOU.
Eligibility: Middle and High Schools in Colorado, in Southwest Denver, Montbello, East Aurora, and Central Aurora”
Professional Development
Workshop series on how to support undocumented students and mixed immigration status families.
These are personalized but can include topics such as challenges and best practices for each developmental age as well as our “undocu-friendly” school audit and “undocu-friendly” curriculum, among other topics.
When: During staff development days, at conferences, or as stand-alone events, depending on specific MOU.
Eligibility: Any school or service provider in Colorado that is in direct contact with mixed immigration status community
