Ensuring All Youth Can Thrive
Regardless of their Immigration Status

As the current political climate creates uncertainty and fear within immigrant communities, it is essential that schools are equipped with the knowledge and resources to support families of mixed immigration status.

 

We Offer:

  • Professional development training for school staff
  • Information workshops for students and families

Our services are flexible in order to meet each school’s needs!

Duration: 60 to 120 minutes
Frequency: single session or series
Languages: available in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, and/or Arabic
Location: in-person (within an hour’s drive of metro Denver) or virtual
Fees: depends on scope of work, with discounts available

Our content is uniquely designed by an undocumented educator, combining both lived experience with over a decade of professional expertise.
With our deep engagement in youth programming, we ensure that the content remains relevant and applicable to the experiences faced by today’s migration-impacted youth.

    Supporting Undocumented Youth

    and their mixed immigration status families

    Through our professional development and family workshops, we equip communities with the tools to support migrant youth. Our UndocuFriendly Services address educational challenges, trauma-informed advocacy, safety policies, and legal rights, while also offering guidance on age-appropriate immigration discussions and emergency preparedness.

    • Foundational Knowledge: migration trends, definitions, demographics and data
    • Official Policies: federal and state laws, immigration enforcement, school policies, and sanctuary
    • Embodied Empathy: mental health, coming out of the shadows, dreamer narrative
    • Know Your Rights: Legal protections, interacting with law enforcement, and emergency preparedness.
    • Best Practices: conversation starters, resource allocation, community

    • Deep Dives: Undocu-Friendly schools and curriculum, college access, career planning
